Overview: The new 3 Dimensional design degree aims to bridge the widening creative industry requirements for creative thinkers and practitioners. If you wish to broaden your understanding of design thinking and ideas generation alongside concept development and making, then this course is for you. This programme focuses on areas such as product and furniture design, as well as prop making and set design for stage and screen. Once a firm understanding of design theory and practice is established, students will begin to specialise in their chosen field of 3D design for the second year of study. Students will then have the opportunity to top up into a final level 6 year and complete the full honours stage here at Hull College.
Entry Requirements Is 64 UCAS points, and we will also consider applications from mature students with industry experience or other accredited prior learning (APL). Our HE IELTS score entry requirements are 6.5

Assessment We will always assess students through a variety of methods and learning styles, this includes assessments such as design lexicons, written submissions, portfolio-based practice and presentations.

Contact Hours Timetabled sessions will be eight hours a week, there will be expected self-directed study and an additional commitment to workshop/studio practice which will equate to a total of 15 hours per week.
