The qualification covers a wide range of areas including children and young people’s development, supporting those with disabilities or special educational needs and communication and professional relationships. Many of our students have gained employment in the sector as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Special Educational Needs Assistant. Some have chosen to progress onto the level 3 qualification and then onto higher education.
