Overview

The L3 Digital Design and Software Development study programme provides you with a route into the sector with a broad range of technical skills around software and digital product development, including procedural, event driven, programming, creative digital, web development, database systems design and systems analysis.

 

You’ll build games to improve your coding skills across platforms, develop your computational thinking and do valuable work experience in the digital industry, as well as improving wider employability skills.

 

The course covers a range of units such as Games Design, Project Management, and SQL and Relational Database Design, along with a number of programming languages including Python and C#.

 

At the end of this study programme you can go on to study at University or enter the work place as a software developer, web developer, systems analysis, network administrator, or IT support technician.

 

Please note that this course requires you to have grade 5 GCSE's in maths and English.
