The course covers the skills and knowledge needed to install dry lining systems. Course structure includes: Principles of building construction at L2 Installing suspended ceiling systems (MF ceilings) Installing metal stud partitions Installing wall linings and beam encasement systems Fixing plasterboard using direct bond Taping and filling plasterboard Applying setting coats to plasterboard backgrounds Understanding specialist systems for dry lining and interiors All practical training is supplemented with classroom based underpinning knowledge.
