THe Details

The Level 1 Early Years Study Programme gets to the heart of what you need to know to start your career in childcare and encourages an understanding of the knowledge and the skills needed to care for young children. Examining child development, communication and creativity, you’ll learn about growth and development, supporting babies to play, musical activities for children and how to best communicate with children to build a rapport, studying the theory and then experiencing how to apply your knowledge in a real work experience setting. Progression from this programme is onto further studies with the Level 2 Childcare Programme, or you can start an Apprenticeship in the early years sector.
