Early Years Study Programme teaches what you need to know to start your career
in childcare and develops the and the skills and understanding needed to care
for young children.
You’ll learn
about growth and development, supporting babies to play, musical activities and
how to best communicate with children to build a trust and confidence. You will study the theory and then apply
your knowledge in our nursery classroom, if you are ready, and then in a real
work experience setting.
We are also
happy to offer you extra qualifications to make sure you are employable,
including an introduction to First Aid.
Progression
from this programme could be the Level 2 Early Years Programme (either
Vocational Pathway to employment or Academic pathway to T Levels) or you can
start an Apprenticeship in the early years sector.
