Overview
The BA (Hons)
in Music (Top-Up) - has two pathways, of which students need to choose,
Performance or Production. The programme aims to develop graduates who embrace
and acknowledge the requirements of their chosen specialism and develop high
levels of skill and knowledge associated with their chosen field of study and
its related disciplines and creativity.
The programme
will enhance graduates employability and professional practice through the
development of entrepreneurial projects, external outreach and interaction with
local industry. Students will foster collaborative working relationships within
professional fields, engaging with professionals as they develop externally
focussed projects that prepare them for a career working in related
industries.

Progression
Upon
completion of this BA (Hons), students may wish to progress to the MA Creative
Practise course or pursue a career in any of the following areas: freelance
illustrator, storyboard artist, animator, commercial artwork production
assistant, teacher, community artist, graphic designer, concept artists, print
maker and special effects technician.
