Maths Graduate Scheme
The Government has put together some attractive bursary packages to attract able and committed graduates. The highest value bursaries are in maths, with a trainee maths teacher with a first class honours degree in maths qualifying for a bursary of £20,000. There is also a Golden Hello scheme, launched, worth £7,500 (£10,000 for those who go on to train in special educational needs) aimed at retaining existing teachers of maths in the second year of teaching. Specialist Graduate Maths Teacher/Trainee Maths Lecturer
Description: Starting September 2014 until July 2016, Band A (£23,345 - £29,549). Hull College are recruiting an outstanding Maths Graduate (achieved or predicted 2:1 or 1st). Gain valuable shadowing experience alongside a funded PGCE, a phased teaching timetable and on-going support within a College rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. You will receive a competitive salary and an additional incentive payment valued between £7.5 - £10k during the second year.
