Submission and requests for extensions

As a student, it is your responsibility to be aware of the relevant submission date and to ensure it is submitted on time. Assignments should be submitted to your Curriculum Support Office with the completed submission form.

If you are unable to submit your assignment by the required deadline due to illness or other extenuating circumstances you may apply for a short extension of up to five days under Leeds Metropolitan University regulations. Alternatively you may apply to have your mitigating circumstances taken into account by the Board of Examiners for longer extensions or other adjustments to the normal assessment process. All forms must be supported by independent medical or other evidence and submitted to the Curriculum Support Office, HE Registry (Hull) or Quality Office (Harrogate).
