Hull College’s Faculty of Business and Science offers Higher Education qualifications up to honours degree level and above. The Faculty has three Schools:
School of Leadership and Management - offering courses in Teacher Education, Business and Management, Professional Portfolio, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management and Level 5 Leadership.
The School of Applied Social Science and Health – offering courses in Criminology, Sport, Young Children’s Learning and Development, Health, Exercise and Lifestyle and Health and Social Care.
The School of Green Skills, Renewable Energies and Digital - offering courses in Engineering, Sustainable Construction, Computing and Logistics.
Our students graduate with the contemporary skills and knowledge required by employers; many of our students who graduate have jobs to go to as a direct result of recruitment and selection events hosted by the college and partner employers.
The Faculty’s research strategy aims to create an environment which builds upon existing research and contributes to wider scholarly activity within the areas of Business and Science. The School of Leadership and Management offers a range of professional and academic courses that will enhance your career options and develop your academic and employability skills, delivered with a high level of support, expertise, resources and quality facilities.
The School of Green Skills, Renewable Energies and Digital is one of the largest providers of sustainable construction education and training in the region. Our workshops, range of programmes, and facilities are acknowledged to be amongst the best in the country including the industry standard Construction Centre of Excellence.
The College is expanding its digital provision, engaging with a number of local and national organisations including Young Enterprise, Centre for Digital Innovation and Platform Expo. The Computing team have developed an innovative scheme to engage students with the world of work, supporting individuals to develop a career within this emerging industry.
The School of Applied Social Science and Health provides courses designed to enhance the employability of practitioners in Sport, Health, Criminology, Young Children’s Learning and Development, Health, Exercise and Lifestyle and Health and Social Care.
The Sport provision is based at the KC Stadium providing state of the art facilities to students interested in gaining a career within the rapidly expanding international sports industry. The College enables students to gain professional expertise with opportunities to gain work-based skills.
