There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however the programme is designed for students who have previous Art & Design experience, such as evening classes, and have decided to commit to more in depth study to follow an interest in their chosen creative field.

The courses on this programme are designed for students who likely have some previous Art & Design experiences e.g. attendance at evening classes, and have decided to commit themselves to more in depth study an interest in their chosen creative field.
There are three levels of course on this programme:
-BTEC level 2 Diploma in Art & Design
-BTEC level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art & Design
-BTEC level 4 Foundation Diploma in Art & Design
The progressive nature of these courses provides a route both to Higher Education Opportunities, to Art & Design Degree courses, and to opportunities for vocational routes, self-employment and professional practice. These courses are delivered with as much flexibility as possible to respond to the needs of adult learners (19+). Students who complete this qualification will be able to apply for BTEC Level 4 Foundation in Art & Design, Foundation Degree and Degree programmes nationally and at Hull School of Art and Design.
