Confidential Counselling Service

A confidential counselling service is available to students from our professional counselling team.

The Hull College Counselling Service provides free, confidential and professional counselling and is available to both students and college staff. Anyone can refer themselves to us, or be referred by a member of staff, and can come for counselling around any issue, whether it is personal or related to college issues.

If you wish to self-refer or to refer someone, please fill in the counselling request form and return it to one of the Counselling Team or Student Support Services, so we can arrange an initial session.

We have also produced a ‘Guidelines for Referrals’ sheet for staff who may refer students, to cover some of the issues that come up.
